At the prestigious Czech Open Championship (Czech International Amateur Championship), which was played at the Royal Golf Club in Mariánské Lázně from 30.7.-2.8.2025, Leo Zurovac played an extraordinary -8 on the fourth day of the competition, which was the best round of the entire tournament and missed breaking the course record, set back in 1993, by 1 stroke. Great golf personalities have played on that course, including Rory McIlroy.
He played -1 in the first 3 days, and with the aforementioned final round he entered the top 10 and finished the tournament in a very good 9th place, five strokes below the score needed to enter the playoff. A total of 104 players participated.
